The Town of Oyen owns and operates a cemetery just north of the Town on Highway 41. There is a Protestant section, a Catholic section, and a memorial garden of Remembrance. The Town of Oyen organizes a Town clean up every spring the 2nd Tuesday in June, weather permitting and volunteers assist the Town crew in an annual spruce- up. During the summer, the Town crew routinely maintains the grounds. Our cemetery committee has set up a watering system and planted new trees.

All monuments require a development permit that may be obtained at the Town office. Maintenance of monuments is the responsibility of the family of the deceased.
