The Oyen & District Food Bank Association is an organization developed through the FCSS Program. This is a registered charity and operates on donations of food and cash from people in the community. The organization meets 9:00 a.m. the 1st Wednesday of September, December, March & June (every 3 months) in the Big Country Education Building.

The Food Bank, located at 113 2nd Avenue West, is open the first Wednesday of every month from 11 am to 1 p.m. To receive help from the Food Bank, one must first make an application with the FCSS office at 313 3rd Avenue East (Dental Building), or the Ministerial Association (local Clergy).
