The Oyen FCSS role and purpose is to enhance, strengthen and stabilize family and community life. Oyen FCSS strives to prevent small problems from escalating in to crisis. It actively promotes and encourages cooperation and coordination with other agencies in the community, volunteerism, youth and seniors out reach. Oyen FCSS also provides information and referrals of available resources.Funding is provided by 80% provincial government and a minimum of 20% by the Town of Oyen and the Municipal District of Acadia No. 34.
